Join us as a Marketing & Communications Manager at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay located in Sydney’s leafy green Eastern Suburbs. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who will join our Sales & Marketing team and manage the end to end development & execution of marketing programs that will deliver results.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, we are looking for an innovative marketer experienced in rolling out multi-channel innovative marketing programs. This successful candidate will drive marketing at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay in relation to brand & advertising, digital marketing, loyalty marketing, distribution and research.

This role will consist of analysis of business performance, trends in the market and competitors to develop & implement strategic and tactical marketing plans and activities for B2B, B2C, PR, partnership marketing, online, social and diversified revenue streams to ensure programs and campaigns generate maximum revenue & profit.

The successful candidate will assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to define clear and differentiated market position to address long term trends, risks and opportunities as well as identify strategic point of difference and penetrate new markets & secure new customers. This role will also consist of managing alliances and partnerships & contribute to IHG through the use of marketing tools to meet brand standards.

Qualifications

You will have experience in managing multiple stakeholders at varying levels of influence. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, a lateral thinker, a multi tasker, a strong communicator both verbally and written with a high level of attention to detail. This is a hands on role will some agency support.

Ideally, you will have at least six years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success. Previous experience in working with syndication tools, html, CMS and eDm software tools would be an advantage. You will have experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a matrix environment which offers an environment of multiplicity, uncertainty, and change, and the ability to work across multiple projects.

You will also have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree in Marketing, Business or Communications.
