CrownePlaza Queenstown is currently looking for
a ReservationsSupervisor to join our team for a 12Month Fixed Term Contract .
to the Front Office Manager you will partner with our Revenue, Sales
& Marketing and Front Office teams, to manage the hotels Reservations
Department. You will oversee guest and group reservations at the hotel, in
addition to managing
inventory balancing and ensuring the
highest standard of guest care, balanced with a commercial approach to maximize
revenue. You will also be expected to promote
the hotels facilities and associated loyalty programs and events.
This role will be predominantly based in a shift period from Monday
to Friday, however you will need to be flexible to work on a rotating roster
including weekends and public holidays as required.

You'll be anapproachable person and have a real passion for providing connecting andseamless service to ensure a memorable guest experience
Dynamic,vibrant, confident and professional personality
Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a hotel Front Office / Reservationsenvironment, with exposure to a leadership role.
Previousexperience in managing group reservation blocks and enquiries is alsodesirable
A strong workingknowledge of a Property Management System, preferably Opera
Highly developed interpersonal and communicationskills both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employeesand third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company
Superior decisionmaking and analytical skills
Abilityand willingness to manage multiple tasks, conflicting deadlines andvarying guest situations
Strongteamwork skills, self and team development focus and a passion fordelivering superior results
High standard ofpersonal presentation
