In this role you will
prepare and cook orders for daily operations while you advice supervisor of low
inventory items; assists in receiving items and taking inventory as
required. You will maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work
area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins and counters
and may assist by performing ware washer or other kitchen duties as
Needs to minimise wastage offood products.
Needs to maximise on workoutput in the section to the best of his abilities.
Needs to avoid breakage ofequipment and misusing of hotel property.
To cooperate and communicatewith your colleagues, Supervisors and Management to ensure effectivedepartmental team work and high morale.
To attend any meetings,training sessions or courses that may be beneficial to you and your departmenton request from your Supervisor/Manager.
To consistently provide andmaintain the highest standard of guest care and service.
Listens to guest complaints,comments and relays same to his Superior and ensures proper action planprepared by the Chef is followed.
To handle any guest complaintsor problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved/unresolved incidents arereported to your Supervisor.
Cleans kitchen and equipment

2 years of relevant experience in a four star property.
