We are currently recruiting for an Events Manager whose responsibilities include: -

  • Responsible for the Co-ordination and management of large and VIP events as allocated by the line manager.

  • Communicate with clients and providing necessary internal written and verbal communication, before during and after event

  • Support Director of Events & Operations in general execution of their daily duties.

  • Answer telephone calls into the Events Office and filter these calls accordingly

  • Maintain client files and keep in an orderly manner.

  • Establish relationships with events clients and third party suppliers

  • Ensuring that the procedures and policies within the IC Meetings are adhered to.

Qualifications

Qualifications & requirements:

  • College education or similar

  • Experience in events operations and planning, the ideal candidate is currently an experienced Events Executive or new Events Manager

  • Knowledge of events planning systems and Delphi is essential

  • Experience in 4/5 star venues, ideally in a similar size property, is essential. Knowledge of the London market is desirable

  • Good understanding of forecasting and numeracy skills

  • All applicants must be able to work varying shifts including weekends and bank holidays

  • All applicants must hold valid permission/visa work in the UK.
