Job Overview

TheOutlet Manager is responsible for coordinating functions and activitiespertaining to smooth running of the restaurant.

Toprovide functional assistance and direction to the Food & Beverageoperations of the restaurant as assigned under the general guidance anddirection of the Food & Beverage Director, or his/her delegate and withinthe limits of the established InterContinental Hotels Group policies andprocedures.

Holiday Inn Doha TheBusiness Park - The Company may temporarily post you to another IHG hotel/department/Crowne Plaza Doha - The Business Park after discussing thesuitability and domestic arrangements with you. You may on occasion be requiredto travel both in Qatar and overseas in connection with the employment.

Duties and Responsibilities

-{PS..0}->1.-{PS..1}->Supervise the day-to-day functioning of all restaurant employees, facilities,sales and costs.

-{PS..2}->2.-{PS..3}->Supervise, coordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteousservice of Food & Beverage in the restaurant.

-{PS..4}->3.-{PS..5}->Control and analyze, on an on-going basis, the following:

-{PS..6}->-{PS..7}->Quality levels of production.

-{PS..8}->-{PS..9}->Guest Satisfaction.

-{PS..10}->-{PS..11}->Merchandising and marketing.

-{PS..12}->-{PS..13}->Operating costs.

-{PS..14}->-{PS..15}->Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene.

-{PS..16}->4.-{PS..17}->Establish and maintain effective employee relations.

-{PS..18}->5.-{PS..19}->Conduct, under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Director and theAssistant Food & Beverage Manager, such functions as interviewing, hiring,employee orientation, on-the-job performance, coaching, counseling andsuspension if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity

-{PS..20}->6.-{PS..21}->Develop formal training plans and implements on the job trainingsessions for restaurant employees.

-{PS..22}->7.-{PS..23}->Attends and contributes to the daily Food & Beverage briefings andmonthly meetings.

-{PS..24}->8.-{PS..25}->Conduct pre-meal briefings and maintains liaison with Executive Chef.

-{PS..26}->9.-{PS..27}->Participate in service as necessary in accordance with the requirementsand practices of the restaurant.

-{PS..28}->10.-{PS..29}->Ensure hotel grooming andappearance standards of the staff in the restaurant are met.

-{PS..30}->11.-{PS..31}->Control stocks for daily usein restaurant to ensure service requirements are met.

-{PS..32}->12.-{PS..33}->Schedule guest reservationsand arranges for private parties in the restaurant.

-{PS..34}->13.-{PS..35}->Participate in the preparationof the Food & Beverage department budget and goals.
