An exciting, yet challenging new opportunity has arisen for a talented, experienced and forward-thinking Brand Design Manager , to join our growing Global Brand Design team.
In this new role, you will support IHG s efforts in accelerating brand and insight-driven design globally. You will become the champion for design, facilitating best practice and tracking design and customer trend evolution.

The Brand Design Manager will work with global and regional counterparts to help to identify the highest potential value platforms for guest, owner and IHG. You will also develop directives and concepts which unlock opportunity within these platforms.
In addition, you will help to establish global design philosophy, key global design concepts and integrate them into the regions. You will provide the interface between global direction and regional implementation.
Support the Regional brand teams as they develop regional guidelines, adapt global standards and implement.
Work with regional Design & Engineering teams to deliver Global Design Philosophy principles and guidelines for all brands.
Work with regional cross functional teams to help develop and implement prototype designs for all brands and facilitate sample room/design programs.
Develop the external networks to cultivate strong business partners to support strong partnerships for IHG.
Work closely with the Global Brand team to bring their strategy and the brand to life.
Liaise with the Global Brand standards team to supply all relevant data to enable design standards to be written and implemented within the region.
We re looking for an experienced Brand Design Manager with c5 years design or architecture experience coupled with a proven track record of working with Brands.
To be successful you will have an extensive and credible appreciation of brands and have worked internationally and cross-culturally in the hospitality industry. In addition, you will have the ability to quickly and accurately assess the scope of implementation of proposed innovation/design proposals and up to date on current trends and innovation in the sector.
You will have a high degree of personal drive, be a self-starter and able to work independently without regular direct management.
