InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is re-defining the luxury resort experience. Embedded in the mythical hills of the famous Son Tra Peninsula and surrounded by a beautiful landscape with panoramic views of the East Sea, this truly iconic 200 bedroom luxury resort was designed by star architect Bill Bensley from Bensley Design Studio Bangkok.
The resort will have a wide selection that offers both local and international delights. From the spectacular views at Citron, to unforgettable world-class dining at La Maison 1888, to a dining in the sands experience at the Barefoot Cafe; there is abundant variety and excitement to cater for all.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Director of Human Resources to join our friendly and professional team.
This exciting role:
Manage the Human Resources function of the Resort by developing the strategy aligned to the hotel s mission, goals and objectives
Oversee Human Resources programs, including recruiting/employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recognition programmes, and training programmes, to ensure policy compliance for hotel team members.
Build and promote a positive team culture while ensuring our guests experience is unique and brings the brand to life. Coach and counsel General Manager and leadership team on all people-related issues.
Establish relationships with external organizations including government training agencies; training consultants; private training providers and professional associations
Influencing communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated strong ability to handle the owners requests, guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
Excellent writing skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Problem solving, motivating, organization consulting and training abilities
Strong Leadership skills in managing teams
Local language is mandatory and other languages preferred.
Bachelor s degree / higher education qualification in Business Administration, Social Science and Humanity, Hotel Management or equivalent
At least 10 years Human resources management experience preferably in a hotel of similar size (600-1000 employees) and complexity and including supervisory experience.
Type and level of luxury experience required may vary slightly based on size and complexity of operation. Experience in isolated Resort is a plus.
Other Information -
Must be Vietnamese.
Majority of work performed in a normal office environment.
Some travels required as needed.
