Join us as a restaurant manager. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can:

  • Manage the Restaurant & Bar operations achieving business objectives through customer focused service delivery.

  • Assist the Assistant F&B Manager and F&B Director understanding menu planning, estimating F&B cost and implementation

  • Analyze food & beverage statistics through point of sale system in cooperation with the Assistant F&B Manager

  • and F&B Director

  • Share recommendations and guest comments to the Assistant F&B Manager or F&B Director

  • Assist in control and analysis of departmental costs

  • Actively pursue cost saving measures

  • Adhere to opening & closing procedures

  • Adhere to bill paying procedures

  • Manage customer database and utilize effectively

  • Conduct effective shift briefing to ensure all staff is aware of VIP’s, special occasions, daily specials.

  • Up-sell property facilities

But also:

  • Prepare induction programs for new staff

  • Coach and discipline staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance

  • Anticipate guests’ needs

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the guest experience

  • Demonstrate a “service”-attitude

  • Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints

  • Personally meet and farewell a minimum of 80% of the guests.

  • Encourage & motivate staff to provide great service during all shifts

  • Recycle wherever possible

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality (reception) – or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Must speak fluent English, French and/or Dutch

  • Strong communication skills essential when interacting with guests and employees
