Duties and responsibilities

  • In the absence of a Manager, conducts shiftbriefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements areknown

  • Endeavourto resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log bookfor further follow up

  • Supervisecash handling and banking procedures

  • Preparedaily banking and cash flow reports

  • Establishand instruct staff in cash security procedures

  • Dealwith irregular payments

  • Supervisethe maintenance of service equipment

  • Monitorstandards of guest facilities and services

  • Controlstock and monitor security procedures

  • Assistwith menu and wine list creation

  • Supervisefunctions

  • Superviseoutlet service

  • Workswith Superior on manpower planning and management needs

  • Workswith Superior in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget



Diploma in Hotel Management, Food

& Beverage, or related field with preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in

restaurant operations.
