We are currently looking for a Senior Specialist, Technology to join the Technology team within the IHG Bangkok Corporate Office. Reporting directly into the Director, Technology for South East Asia & Korea, this role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the IT infrastructure for a portfolio of approximately eight hotels located across South East Asia which form part of the Shared Services portfolio. The Senior Specialist will provide technical support and/or escalation to the support centers, including but not limited to the following:

  • Ensure remote support access is limited to IHG approved solutions. The current solution is IHG hosted Bomgar. All other access solutions must be removed and/or disabled

  • New Hire setup, ensure all new hires are set up with unique login credentials for all system required access

  • Act as an escalation and provide advanced support for account administration; support and maintenance

  • Participate in new product installations pilot and transition to support the customer service team

  • Following and tailor fitting the Customer Service technology policies and procedures based on hotel operations

  • Ensuring the IT Department Best Practices are documented, implemented, and exercised

Qualifications

To set you up for success in the role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience as an IT Executive working within an environment supporting; desktop server, network, database and application environment

  • A minimum of ITIL v3 Foundation certified, Microsoft MSCA and/or Cisco CCNA

  • Demonstrated experience providing remote multi-site IT support, experience within the hotel industry is preferred

  • Ability to effectively communication with key stakeholders (internal and external) across various level across the business

  • Excellent time management, highly organized with the ability to multi-task

  • Three years proven experience leading a Project Management or Implementation team

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an excellent service, with respect to the support of technology systems and solutions
