This position is responsible for planning, design and implementing and managing IHG VoIP, video and enterprise collaboration platforms. The candidate will set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization. Although the primary focus of this position is to implement and support VoIP/Video Collaboration (Cisco Telepresence) installations, the position will also be tasked with general network support and build-outs including security, routing, switching, wireless, and other network related duties.

The candidate will also be required to provide mentoring, training, and support for the NOC staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Work with management team to develop a comprehensive and successful Cisco Unified Communications business unit and plan

  2. Work with IHG internal customer and under the direction of the Global Network Engineering Director develop Cisco Unified Communications, design, installation, and support IHG’s world wide VoIP, Video and Collaboration (Cisco Telepresence) platform.

  3. Provide architectural and engineering solutions to Cisco and Avaya VoIP solutions deployed in various IHG offices, including regional headquarters.

  4. Responsible for design, staging, configuration, implementation, and support for VoIP, video and collaboration installations as necessary

  5. Manage outsourced vendor based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platform

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  1. Attend and participate in internal and customer meetings

  2. Continue personal development

  3. Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. At least 5 years of deep rooted experience in Voice, Video, Telepresence implementation experience in a large (supporting 3000 phone devices and more).
