IHG Americas Regional Corporate Office is centrally located at the beautiful Ravinia Complex just outside Atlanta s Perimeter (I-285), offering a convenient commute from all areas of Metro Atlanta. This exciting role will develop and manage the project management activities for the Division. This position is responsible for project planning and resource allocation which will include identifying standard criteria for project selection, assessing priority, progression of projects to meet specific and agreed targets including project profile, timeline and budget. Interacts with project team leaders and members to determine realistic timelines and key project milestones for direct or indirect revenue driving projects. Participates in development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities)
Management of integration, scope, quality, risk, time, cost, communications, procurement, and human resources as it relates to each project
Produce regular and ad hoc reports and presentations to management
Develop processes at the project and program level to provide greater quality, resource optimization and consistency across initiatives and the team
Define and execute a comprehensive work plan including: communications, training, change readiness, and organization design/development
Creates and implements complex project definitions, schedules, budgets, ROI and objectives for a large sized or multiple projects of high complexity
Determines need for and impact of changes in scope of project and makes and implements recommendations based on determinations
Gains concurrence, approval, and consensus from stakeholders regarding the various project aspects, adjusts accordingly
Manages Project Leaders to ensure strict adherence to planning cycle milestones, project schedules, processes, deliverable due dates, timely handling of accounts payable / accounts receivable / invoicing activity, etc.
Managing resource allocation; which projects will be brought on and which team has the resources and is best suited for each project
Tracking overall project status across Division and provide reports and executive updates of bi-weekly and monthly executive updates
Recommend efforts to improve internal processes, best practices, and collaboration within the Division leaders

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification preferred or obtain within 6 months of start date.
6 to 10 years progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position as well as 3 to 5 years prior supervisory or team leader experience.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrated understanding of hotel and contact center business
Demonstrated strong cognitive skills-including, problem solving, decision making, relationship management and analysis
Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of business financials including budgeting and cost control
Demonstrated strong negotiation skills, understanding of group dynamics and conflict management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead others through change and the ability to work with ambiguity
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors and/or staff
Must have the legal right to work in this country
