The purpose of this role is to collaborate with the brand team to design an end-to-end supply chain strategy to meet the brand’s objectives. This role will lead supply chain commercialization of brand program and platforms – driving competitive advantage for owners and IHG. As such the Brand Supply Chain Director is the single point of accountability for Procurement delivery of brand projects. The Brand Supply Chain Director will draw upon the relevant parts of Procurement to make this happen and work collaboratively across other functional business partners. This individual has a key influencing, educating and facilitation role working in partnership with the brand leadership team. A focus for this role will be early engagement of Procurement across brand design/development and ownership of the end-to-end total cost / cost per key of the given brand(s).
Some of the responsibilities for this role will include:
Leading translation of brand programmes into a global supply chain strategy
Translate brand & design requirements into briefs for procurement category team sourcing activities
Bringing innovation from procurement category teams & suppliers and feeding into the brand teams
Commercialize brand programmes with a key focus on cost per key
Challenge brand design to ensure delivery of IHG and owner ROI
Coordinate brand programmes across multiple projects, categories, and teams to drive supply chain leverage
Co-creation of designing and delivering guest experiences and optimising cost
Continuous improvement through value engineering on cost per key, year over year, benchmarked to competition
Return on investment assessment through post project review and on-going monitoring of metrics
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Act as a point of escalation for issues and disputes
Implement sourcing results and share output with Stakeholders
Act as the change lead for all key Procurement initiatives for the brand
Competitive salary and bonus potential
Education - Bachelors' or Master Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or in a relevant field. A fully seasoned professional that has deep relevant expertise of their functional areas.
5 years business management experience in a senior position in a blue chip commercial environment
Educated to a degree level or equivalent
High quality skills in program and planning
Proven track record in change management within a matrix organization
Demonstrate strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Strong impact and influencing skills
High drive for results
Able to translate strategy in to actionable deliverables

Ability to travel 30% of time required.
