IHG Americas Regional Corporate Office is centrally located at the beautiful Ravinia Complex just outside Atlanta s Perimeter (I-285), offering a convenient commute from all areas of Metro Atlanta. Job Summary

As a product owner, the individual will work closely with business partners and functional teams within the Global Loyalty and CRM. Develop business, functional, and technical (logical and physical) requirements documentation via user stories. Drive our technology partners to understand what is important to our products; influence their product roadmaps; and deliver solutions to our requirements. Responsible for management of product roadmap, backlog prioritization and overall delivery of the assigned project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Elicit business needs using a range of techniques, including feedback from stakeholders, document analysis, business process descriptions, scenarios and business analysis.

Understand and interpret business needs, and translate them into systems and operational requirements.

Research and identify new functionality and/or for user stories.

Provide requirements, design, and sprint plan updates to ensure all business and GT partners are involved in cost estimates, design, and development.

Manage and monitor projects and ensure activities are consistent with established standards and timelines.

Provide subject matter support on escalated issues and mange continuous improvement process to ensure solutions remain competitive and supportable.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

Four or more years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position including experience with Agile methodology practices and understanding on how to use software solutions in hotel operations.

Experience is leading or managing a newly developed application to completion is preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

Experience in one or more of the following as related to the position:

Property Management System (PMS), functionality and interfaces.

Point of sale (POS), functionality and interfaces.

Hotel technical infrastructures.

Corporate and central systems.

Data bases; data security; hardware and software platforms; and network set-up.

Other Skills & Knowledge

Strong analytical and product management skills.

Able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.

Able to translate business requirements into systems and operational specifications.

Demonstrate cultural awareness.

Experience in organising, planning and executing projects from conception through implementation.

Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in impacting and influencing colleagues and business partners.

Other Information

Majority of work is performed in a normal office environment.

Some travel required as needed (generally less than 10%).
