You ll have ambition, talent andobviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we re looking forsomeone who is able to take detailed charge of the Front Office Operation and strivesto maximize hotel revenue effectively through given IHG tools.
Under the guidance of the Assistant FrontOffice Manager the Duty Manager will lead a team of 22 colleagues fromreception, Concierge and Health Club and ensures highest level of service isprovided to the hotel guest. The Duty Manager leads the shifts and representsthe Assistant Front Office Manager during his absence.
It is the Duty Manager s responsibility toensure an effective communication between the Front Office and other HotelDepartments in order to support an excellent guest stay.
Further, the Duty Manager is overlookingthe daily VIP arrivals and their room allocation as well as meeting the VIPguests.
Being present in the Lobby at all times, theDuty Manager acts as first point of contact when direct guest complaints arereceived and implements appropriate service recovery strategies.The Duty Manager ensures compliance withall brand standards, policies and procedures and takes operational decisions inthe absence of the higher management
In addition, the Duty Manager motivatesand enhances team performance as well as develops the team members.
The ideal candidate has at least one year ofexperience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 stars hotel or has several years ofexperience in a Front Office Supervisory position and is ready for the nextstep. Arabic speaking abilities would be of advantage.
You must be highly guest oriented with anattention to detail. The right candidate must possess a positive andprofessional presentation at all times and need to have strong interpersonaland problem solving skills.
The right candidate is highly responsible &reliable and takes ownership.
You are required to work well under pressure withmulti tasking abilities.
